Bhopal: Senior Congress leader and former minister PC Sharma and noted thinker Bhasker Rao Rokade held a joint press conference announcing that a grand national-level event will be organised on 19 November 2025 at the Muktakash Manch near Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal, to mark the 108th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Addressing the media, Sharma and Rokade criticised the Union Home Ministry’s notification dated 12 July 2024, which designated 25 June as “Constitution Murder Day.” They alleged that the move triggered a deliberate disinformation campaign against Indira Gandhi.
Rokade highlighted that during the 1960s and 1970s, growing dominance of monopolistic capitalism and the remnants of feudal power created social and economic inequality.
