Navy captain who served for 30 years, led McDowell High’s youth, to be buried in Arlington

For more than 30 years, Capt. Hardy Rose served in the United States Navy, which included time in the Vietnam War and aboard various ships around the world. In the 1980s and 1990s, Rose guided local youth through McDowell High School’s NJROTC program.
