Senco Gold reported that its net profit in the September quarter was up over four-fold to ₹49 crore against ₹12 crore logged in the same period last year, on the back of strong demand and high gold prices.
Revenue was up two per cent at ₹1,536 crore (₹1,500 crore). EBITDA more than doubled to ₹106 crore (₹52 crore).
The Average Selling Price and Average Ticket Value also rose to 15 per cent and 16 per cent to ₹56,700 and ₹86,200 in line with high gold prices, said the company.
The company registered highest-ever Dhanteras and Diwali sales in October achieving of over ₹1,700 crore despite lifetime-high gold prices.
