A local nonprofit is making a record of Indiana's music history one interview at a time.
The Indiana Music History Project will release 50 completed video interviews with influential figures in Indiana music as part of its Oral History Project, a piece of its ongoing efforts to document the state’s music tapestry . The nonprofit will expand this project with 25 more interview videos slated for 2026, made possible by an additional grant from the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation.
The Music History Project will publish the videos on its website and post clips of the final products to its Facebook and Instagram pages. The organization will distribute shorter clips of the full interviews to local radio stations for broadcasting.
