Two-time Connecticut Player of the Year and ESPN 4-star prospect Abdou Toure made it official and signed with the University Arkansas men's basketball program Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period.
Toure, who plans to hold a signing ceremony Saturday, signed with the Hogs over in-state Connecticut and Providence along with a host of other scholarship offers.
"I'm ready to go down there and try and win a national championship," Toure said.
Toure, 6-5, 205 pounds, of West Haven (Conn.) Notre Dame, also had scholarship offers from Alabama, Maryland, Oregon, Louisville, Florida State, Texas A&M, Utah, Arizona State, Rutgers, Stanford, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Mississippi State and others.
