The Denver Nuggets continued their dominant run on Wednesday night by securing another convincing win to improve their record to 9-2. Behind the extraordinary performance of Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets handed Ivica Zubac and the Los Angeles Clippers a tough 130-116 defeat at the Intuit Dome.
Jokic delivered an all-time great performance against the Clippers. He finished the night with 55 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists. He shot 18-of-23 from the field and 5-of-6 from beyond the arc.
Jokic erupted for 33 points in the first half, including a stunning 25-point opening quarter. It marked the highest-scoring first quarter ever recorded by a center in NBA history.
