Emerson Garrett netted the game-winning goal for top-seeded Verona in its 2-1 win against fifth-seeded Mountain Lakes in the semifinal round of the North Jersey Section 2, Group 1 Tournament in Verona.

Samantha Trimble found the back of the net for Mountain Lakes in the first half after Ashton Parker bounced the ball off the goal post and went right to Trimble.
