Another cold and windy day is ahead for Massachusetts on Thursday, with conditions remaining dry aside from a few stray showers.
Highs will reach the upper 40s across much of Massachusetts, with cooler temperatures expected for higher elevations. Sunshine to start the day will give way to cloudy conditions, National Weather Service forecasters said.
Most areas will stay dry, though an isolated shower is possible in the afternoon, especially on the South Coast and Cape Cod and the Islands.
Friday brings mostly sunny skies, with some ocean-effect clouds lingering over the Cape. Cloud cover is expected to increase in the afternoon as another weather disturbance makes its way through the region. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, with highs in the mid-40s.
