With security measures tightened across the National Capital, Delhi Police on Thursday has advised all passengers to arrive well in advance at railway stations, metro stations, and the airport to avoid delays during enhanced security checks.
According to Joint Commissioner of Police Milind Dumbre, travellers should reach railway stations at least one hour before their train’s scheduled departure, metro stations 20 minutes early, and airports three hours before international flights, news agency ANI reported
The advisory aims to ensure smooth security screening, prevent last-minute inconveniences, and facilitate timely boarding amid intensified security measures at key transport hubs in Delhi.
