Mel Owens’ journey on “The Golden Bachelor” has come to an end.

Mel, 66, got a happy ending with Peg Munson during the Wednesday, Nov. 12, finale of the ABC reality series.

“This was our time,” Mel told Peg, 62, during a romantic moment on a beach in Antigua. “I trusted you, you trusted me, and you told me you had confidence in me that I’d make the right choice. And here you are. I have something for you.”

The former NFL linebacker then presented Peg with a ring symbolizing “commitment to love,” although he didn’t formally propose marriage.

Peg accepted the ring, calling Mel “the perfect guy.”
