The Works Department of Odisha announced plans for an elevated corridor in Bhubaneswar to reduce traffic congestion and improve road connectivity.

Officials confirmed that the corridor will connect Kalpana, Khandagiri, and Jaydev Vihar to Nalco Square. Engineers designed the project as a two-tier road system that will streamline traffic flow and remove the traffic post at AG Square.

The department prepared a preliminary Detailed Project Report (DPR) and presented it to Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan. The minister reviewed the proposal and directed officials to refine the plan for execution.
