Civil rights leader Reverend Jesse Jackson has been hospitalized in Chicago. A person familiar with the situation tells NBC News that Jackson had an elevated pulse and what was described as a “rattle in his chest.” They say he is under observation for a rare, progressive brain disorder that affects balance, speech and swallowing.
