Boriyavi (Guj), Nov 13: The Narendra Modi government has decided to set up 100 Sainik Schools across the country on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday.
Speaking via video conference at the inauguration function of Shri Motibhai R Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School (MRCSSS) and Sagar Organic Plant, he said these schools will open the path for children from several districts of Gujarat to serve in the armed forces.
The Shri Motibhai R Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School (MRCSSS) has been built at a cost of Rs 50 crore and is equipped with facilities such as smart classrooms, hostels, a library and a canteen, a government release said.
