BED-STUY — YASUNARI IKUMA, 47, was arrested on Sunday and charged with animal cruelty after allegedly abandoning a dog on the roof of a shuttered Atlantic Avenue commercial property, reports ABC News .
Images released by police show the dog was chained and muzzled at the time of its discovery on Saturday afternoon. It was reportedly injured and malnourished, and had allegedly been left without food and water. Officers rescued the dog and transferred it to the care of the ASPCA.
The discovery was made at 1289 Atlantic Ave., formerly Grace Temple, following a 311 complaint.
