Star India all-rounder Washington Sundar is all set to assume a central role in the Gujarat Titans setup, with a report in The Times of India saying that he would consistently bat at No. 4, starting IPL 2026. With their top order fixed and someone like Sundar expected to assume a bigger responsibility, Gujarat might not be a very active table at the IPL 2026 mini auction.
As per the report, captain Shubman Gill and coach Ashish Nehra are keen to keep GT’s core intact for IPL 2026. The only significant change is that the management plans to give Sundar a bigger role next season, slotting him at No. 4 in the batting order.
