MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Northeast Louisiana Arts Council is looking for Region 8 artists to be part of a new exhibit.
Parish Lines, a juried group exhibition, will showcase the work of up to 36 different artists.
They want to create a visual map of people’s experiences in different areas of Northeast Louisiana. They hope to have three artists from each parish represented.
“Every line tells a story,” says Abigail Handy-Garcia, Grants & Development Officer for the Arts Council. “Each artist reflects their own place - both literally and emotionally - through their work. Together, they reveal the creative identity of our region.”
The exhibition will be open from June 1 - July 10, 2026, at 118 Cotton Street in West Monroe. The council will have a public reception on June 4th, 2026.
