BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) will host a food drive on Saturday afternoon.
The Help for the Holidays Food Drive is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 5600 Flatiron Parkway, Boulder.
BSCO said the goal of the food drive is to help community members in need this holiday season.
All donations will be distributed to Harvest of Hope, St. John Food Bank and Sister Carmen, local organizations that BCSO said have seen significant demand from people experiencing food insecurity.
The sheriff’s office encourages community members to donate non-perishable food items. The donation items most in need include:
Baby formula
Baking mixes and baking goods
Beans
Bottled water
Canned and dried fruit
Canned and dried pas
