A woman led deputies on a brief on-foot chase in Spring, but she was taken into custody after being tased.
The situation was reported on Facebook by Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.
It started when a traffic stop was conducted on FM 2920 near an apartment complex in Spring.
After being stopped, the woman got out of her car and ran away on foot. Deputies followed her, and after administering a taser, they safely took her into custody.
Further investigation determined that the woman had an active warrant in Arkansas.
“Thanks to the swift action and professionalism of Precinct 4 Deputies, another wanted fugitive is off the streets!” Herman said in a Facebook post announcing the arrest.
