HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — The Hendricks County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating a missing 23-year-old man.
Deputies said Memphis Beatty was last seen walking in the area of U.S. 40 and Cartersburg Road, west of Plainfield, around 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Beatty is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has blonde hair, blue eyes and a beard.
Deputies said Beatty was wearing a brown coat and gray sweatpants.
According to the sheriff's office, Beatty is injured and needs medical assistance.
Anyone with information on Beatty's whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office at 317-839-8700.
There are specific standards a person's disappearance must meet in order for police to declare an Amber Alert or a Silver Alert .
