The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office on Thursday identified the victims of a Little Woods stabbing and a Central City shooting — both occurring within four hours of each other.

Ernest Robertson, 39, was fatally shot in Central City Tuesday night, police said.

Police responded to the shooting in the 2100 block of South Claiborne Avenue at around 6:35 p.m. Robertson was taken to a local hospital by New Olreans EMS, where he was later declared dead.

Police have provided no further updates into the ongoing investigation as at Thursday afternoon.

Samuel Eweni, 75, was stabbed to death in a New Orleans East residence on the 8000 block of Pebble Drive Tuesday night and two women were non-fatally stabbed, New Orleans police said.
