Blue Origin is set to launch its highly anticipated ESCAPADE mission to Mars from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, marking a major milestone for the private spaceflight company and NASA’s scientific exploration efforts.

The launch window opens at 1:27 am IST and extends until approximately 2:55 am IST.

The mission will utilise Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket, a 321-foot-tall two-stage heavy-lift vehicle designed for orbital and interplanetary missions. This marks the second flight of New Glenn since its inaugural launch earlier this year.

Following liftoff, the rocket’s first stage is programmed to land autonomously on a droneship named Jacklyn in the Atlantic Ocean, aiming for reusability, a key aspect of Blue Origin’s strategy.
