HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A woman in Hall County has now been charged with murder more than a week after she was charged with concealing a death after a 4-year-old girl's remains were found in her trunk, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The warrant stated that Jessica Motes was seen by her dad on Sunday driving into a shopping center parking lot in Oakwood, and that she allegedly told him she "Hurt (redacted name)" and "I think she is dead."

According to the accusations in the warrant, her dad then drove her away from the parking lot and, in an encounter with law enforcement, the remains of the 4-year-old girl were found in the trunk of Motes' car.
