NATIONWIDE – STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL Letitia James on Wednesday led a coalition of 15 other attorneys general in filing an amicus brief with the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, urging the court to uphold a ruling defending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of Haitian and Venezuelan immigrants.
James and the coalition argue that the United States District Court for the Northern District of California correctly found that the administration’s action to terminate TPS protections was arbitrary, capricious, and contrary to the law.
