NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Dragons are preparing for their first playoff game since 2021.

Head Coach Darby House joined the Red Zone Preview show on Wednesday. House says reaching the playoffs is a great building block.

“Our kids have been working hard. From offseason to spring ball, we’ve done a lot of things and come a long way,” House said. ‘The kids are bought in and they’ve been flying around, so it’s been great to see."

The Dragons lost their final three games of the season, but got into the playoffs after Hallsville lost on Friday. House said the feeling was bittersweet.
