Desert Sunrise High School was briefly evacuated this morning after a fire alarm triggered standard safety procedures, according to a text message sent to parents this morning.
Students and staff returned to class about 9:30 a.m. after Maricopa Fire and Medical Department cleared the building.
“The building has been given the all clear. Students and staff have returned inside. Normal activities have resumed,” said district spokesperson Mishell Terry.
