LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) - The Arkansas Department of Human Services says Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program beneficiaries will receive their full benefits for November.

According to Thursday’s DHS news release, “these funds will be disbursed to cards late tonight into tomorrow.”

DHS said it had been preparing to make benefits available in line with guidance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

“USDA today issued a revised guidance directing states to issue full benefit amounts after the federal government shutdown formally came to an end ,” the news release said. “DHS immediately began internal processes to allow for the distribution of these SNAP funds as soon as possible, and they are expected to be available beginning at midnight.”
