(Gray News) - U.S. Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was hospitalized after a fall Thursday.
Fetterman “sustained a fall near his home in Braddock,” according to a statement from his spokesperson. He was then taken to a hospital out of an “abundance of caution.”

At the hospital, it was determined Fetterman had a “ventricular fibrillation flare-up” that caused him to feel light-headed and fall to the ground. The senator hit his face during the fall and sustained minor injuries.
“If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now,” Fetterman was quoted to say in his spokesperson’s statement.
The statement reported he is doing well now
