Sophia Bush doesn't want to be anything other than honest about her One Tree Hill salary.

The 43-year-old revealed she was paid less than many of her costars during her nine-season run on the teen drama, which debuted on the WB in 2003 and ran until 2012 on The CW.

"Everybody was coming from something," Sophia shared during a recent Tech Futures panel , explaining how castmates Hilarie Burton was an MTV VJ and Bethany Joy Lenz appeared on soap operas before the show. "I had been the philanthropy chair of my sorority at USC."

She continued, "So, the difference in pay scale was wild."
