GLADSTONE — David Allen Sinnaeve, 78 of

Dave (known as “Chief” to his friends) was born on January 27, 1947, in Escanaba, to Angeline and Julimer Sinnaeve. He worked as a pipefitter for the Plumber and Pipefitters Union Local 506 in Escanaba. He was also a proud Army veteran, serving his country right out of high school.

Dave had many interests and hobbies that included riding motorcycles with the U.P. Chiefs, where he served as the club president. He also enjoyed playing pool. Dave loved the outdoors, and especially loved camping, hunting and cutting wood. He was an avid fan of TV6’s outdoor U.P. show, “Discovering”, and in his later years enjoyed watching nature in his backyard from his captain’s chair in the kitchen.
