DNA evidence led to Thursday’s arrest of a 27-year-old suspect in the death of Sean Hernandez who was found dead in June in the front yard of a Surprise home, police said.

Nathan Sobarzo was taken to Maricopa County Jail on Nov. 13 and faces second-degree murder charges, police said.

Hernandez, 53, died June 11 at the home near West Bell and North Dysart roads.

Detectives took Sobarzo into custody that day on unrelated robbery charges as the investigation continued.
