A 27-year-old man who worked as the assistant admissions director at Emmanuel College in Boston pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempting to solicit a girl who applied to the school to have sex with him, federal prosecutors said.
Jacob Tyler Henriques, of Boston, pleaded guilty to one count each of attempted sex trafficking of a minor and cyberstalking, U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Leah Foley’s office said in a statement. Henriques, who was arrested and charged in May , will be sentenced in March 2026.
Henriques used his position in the admissions office to get access to the personal information of both admitted and prospective students, whom he contacted to try to solicit commercial sex, according to the statement.
