Last year, the Los Angeles Rams beat Sam Darnold and Minnesota Vikings twice, and this year Darnold is playing with the Seattle Seahawks, so will Darnold be better with the Seahawks? The same? Or worse? And, is Darnold in a better system in Seattle than he was in with the Vikings?
I think it’s fair to say that Seattle has a better team than the Vikings (did they last year too?), but is Darnold in a better system? I don’t know.
Sean McVay said that Darnold is in a “really good system” as he and his Rams prepare for a massive regular season game against Seattle.
Last year, Darnold had Kevin O’Connell calling players, and Justin Jefferson. Now, Darnold has Clint Kubiak calling plays and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Both seem like good situations to me.
