NEWARK - Saint Michael’s Medical Center was the only hospital in Newark to earn an A from the Leapfrog Group in its bi-annual patient safety report.
The hospital, owned by California-based Prime Healthcare, has earned the top letter grade from Leapfrog for the last four consecutive periods.
“This fourth consecutive “A” in patient safety reflects Saint Michael’s ongoing focus on putting patients first,” said Saint Michael’s CEO Alan Sickles, MD, adding that the recognition from Leapfrog is a testament to the hospital’s culture of safety.
“Our staff works tirelessly to ensure every patient receives safe, compassionate care, and this recognition underscores their dedication,” Dr. Sickles said.
