The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is continuing to seek the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who was found dead in central Edmonton in December 2024.

On December 9, 2024, police received a report of a female who was found deceased in a waste disposal bin in the area of Bellamy Hill Road. Surveillance footage from approximately 9:30 a.m. the morning before shows the female walking alone northbound up the alley from 99 Avenue between 103 Street and Bellamy Hill, then getting into the bin. Her death is not deemed to be suspicious.

The woman is described as a 25 to 35-year-old Indigenous female with shoulder-length brown and red hair and brown eyes, standing at approximately 5’6″ tall with a slim build.

Police were unable to identify the woman through traditional methods.
