Fort Saskatchewan’s newest McDonalds location is opening up.

The location officially opened at 8:01 p.m. on November 13 after being under construction for just a few months.

McDonald’s is located just off of Wilshire Boulevard, easily accessible from Veterans way headed south out of the city.

To celebrate the opening of the new location and to raise money for a good cause, owner Stephen Lo will be donating a dollar from every Happy Meal to the James Mowat New Playground Initiative.

When the location opened last night, it became the 1,500th McDonalds location in Canada.

Lo’s parents ran the other free-standing McDonald’s location in Fort Saskatchewan for over two decades.
