A local group is encouraging everyone to write cards and send gifts to Chatham-Kent seniors again this season.

A local group is encouraging everyone to write cards and send gifts to Chatham-Kent seniors again this season.

For the sixth year, Santa for Seniors volunteers will connect with those in retirement and nursing homes, as well as people living independently.

“These past few years have been particularly challenging for so many people in our community, and there have been lots of great ways to help with these challenges,” co-organizer Dava Robichaud said in a release.

“Isolation continues to be a challenge, especially for seniors, and we hope to brighten their day with some gifts and cards from every corner of Chatham-Kent.”
