AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The three suspects accused of beating a 57-year-old man to death for his food stamp card will be prosecuted for the September 25 incident.

A Potter County grand jury decided there was enough evidence to formally charge Alline Ndayishimiye, Dashaun Timothy Jackson and Thomas Seldon Rendon with murder.

As we previously reported , Amarillo Police were called out to a residence near Bluebell Street and 11th Avenue around 2 p.m.

They discovered a male victim dead inside the residence. The victim was later identified as 57-year-old Paluku Valantin.

Court documents show that witnesses told police that Paluku was beat up by a black female and two males who took his food stamp card and cell phone.

Paluku was then taken to a friend’s home to recover from the attack.
