A Sarnia towing business that was close to shutting down has new life and, soon, new ownership.
Employees with Captain Hook Towing, founded in 2007 by Lee Anne Babiak and her late husband Jim, were told in September the business would be shutting down, said Babiak.

It’ll be two years this Christmas since her husband died and all the weight of running the business fell to her son, Eric Symes, she said.
“It was all dumped on his shoulders and he was getting really burnt out,” she said.
“Running a business is tough,” said Symes, who’d been managing Captain Hook with Jim Babiak about five years before having to take it on solo.
