Srinagar, Nov 14: The residential house of Dr. Umar Nabi, identified by security agencies as the man who drove the explosive-laden car that detonated near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10, was demolished with explosives during the night of November 13–14 in the Koil area of Pulwama district, south Kashmir.
Locals reported that security forces arrived in the dead of night and used explosives to raze the house, where Dr.Nabi and his family had lived.
Earlier, Dr. Umar’s family described him as a “shy, studious, and religious” young man. Dr. Umar died in the explosion, which killed 13 civilians and left over 20 injured. DNA samples from his mother matched the remains recovered from the blast site, confirming his involvement.
