LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - The Edgewood Bulldogs are moving on to the area round of the high school playoffs after defeating New Boston 42-39 Thursday night in Longview.

Edgewood overcame a 13-0 deficit. The Bulldogs got their first score after Trevor Golightly hit Tony Smith on a flea-flicker play to cut the deficit to 13-7.

Edgewood has won seven games in a row to improve to 9-2.
