Steady rain is expected to continue in Fresno through Monday night, the National Weather Service in Hanford says.
Since the storm began with a thunder-and-lightning display in Thursday’s wee hours, it had dropped about an inch of rain in the city through noon Friday.
However, some Fresno locations reported receiving as much as 1.25 inches.
The NWS forecast calls for up to a quarter-inch more through midnight, followed by steady rain through Monday evening. Before it exits the region, the storm could soak Fresno with more than two inches of rain.
