CAMDEN, S.C. — A Kershaw County jury has convicted a Camden man in a violent 2023 home invasion that left one homeowner injured and a community shaken.

On Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, jurors found Troy Douglas Jenkins guilty on multiple charges, including first-degree burglary, two counts of kidnapping, armed robbery, assault and battery in the first degree, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Circuit Court Judge T.W. McGee III sentenced Jenkins to 45 years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
