Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has pleaded not guilty to an attempted murder charge brought against him in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and was released after posting $25,000 bond.

U.S. Marshals travelled to Dubai to extradite Brown back to the United States. He initially arrived in New Jersey. According to Local 10 News in Miami , Brown’s attorney, Mark Eiglarsh, argued Brown had ongoing business in Dubai, and that he was overcharged by authorities.

Brown was outfitted for a GPS ankle monitor before his release from prison, which he will have to wear moving forward.

The attempted murder charge was levied on June 11 against Brown.
