The high school football regular season is officially in the books! Eight Augusta-area teams made it to the GHSA State Football Championships, all with aspirations to hoist a state championship.

10-seed Westside (9-1) will host 23-seed Long Country (7-3). 26-seed Richmond Academy (5-5) heads on the road to face 7-seed Stephenson (9-1). 17-seed Harlem (8-2) will travel to face 16-seed Heritage (7-3). 32-seed Butler (2-8) will go against 1-seed Carver (10-0) on the road.

6-seed Thomson (7-3) will host 27-seed Jackson (4-6). 10-seed Burke County (8-2) will play host to 23-seed Sonoraville (5-5). 18-seed Laney (7-3) goes on the road to (7-3) face 15-seed Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe. 12-seed Aquinas (6-4) is hosting 21-seed Darlington (3-7).
