An MS-13 gang member who pleaded guilty in May to taking part in the killing of a Frederick High School student in 2023 has had his federal sentencing delayed until May 2026, online court show.

Ismael Ivan Rivera Canales, 22, pleaded guilty in federal court in Baltimore on May 22 to one count of conspiracy to participate in a racketeering enterprise, related to the death of Limber Lopez Funez.
