After spending the entire regular season ranked in the Class 4A Division I top 10, the Celina and Frisco Panther Creek football teams opened their respective postseasons in resounding fashion on Thursday.

For the second straight year, the Bobcats began their playoff run with a shutout after blanking Pinkston 77-0 from Loos Stadium in Addison, while the Panthers took care of Dallas Carter 49-7 in a rematch from the preseason on Sept. 5 that produced an identical score.
