A former Oldham County deputy judge-executive is facing charges in connection to alleged misconduct while in office, according to a Nov. 14 release from the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman.

According to Oldham Circuit Court records, Joseph Ender, 44, was issued a criminal summons Nov. 14 on charges of felony theft of services greater than $10,000 and misdemeanor official misconduct.

According to the indictment, Ender diverted equipment and employees from the Oldham County Road Department to complete work on his private property.

The release credited action from the Attorney General’s Department of Criminal Investigations and Special Prosecutions Unit for Ender's indictment. Assistant Attorney General Lindsey Studebaker will prosecute the case.
