The 2025 Florida high school football playoffs have arrived! And in the last year under its current format , the FHSAA playoffs got off with a bang.

The intrigue kicked in well before the first kickoff with a judge banning The First Academy from the postseason over eligibility violations, a back-and-forth case that lasted weeks and caused the regional bracket release to be delayed .

But the on-field action didn't disappoint, starting with some epic Thursday night games.
