BUFFALO, N.Y. — Walking into Oliver’s Restaurant in North Buffalo is like stepping into Buffalo’s fine-dining history. The restaurant first opened its doors in 1936, and today, owner Dave Schutte says that legacy is something he takes great pride in.

“Very proud of the history of Oliver's," he shared with 2 On Your Side . "Since it opened in 1936 by Frank Oliver, I'm the fifth owner in those 90 years. So I'm very proud of that tradition,” Schutte said.

Now, Oliver’s is celebrating its third consecutive year at the top of Buffalo Business First’s annual readers’ survey of Buffalo’s best restaurants.
