Coby Jerome Fugate, 61, of Morristown, departed this life on Friday, October 31, 2025, at his residence.

Coby was a warm friendly soul who greeted everyone with a smile. He was a fixture in the community who enjoyed fellowshipping with others. His family and friends love him dearly and will miss him every day.

Coby was preceded in death by his father, William “Pressy Noe” Fugate; mother, J. Aileen Yoe-Carter; brothers: Freddie Olden, Grant Fugate, William “Moses” Fugate and Jerry Houston; and sister, Tina Ann Blevins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Jerome Kyle and Miata Kyle, brothers: George Fugate and Larry Houston; sisters: Rena’ Olden, Ulinda “Puddin” Fugate, Susie “Rhonda Lynn” Anderson, and Jamesena (Arthur) Smith; aunt: Sarah Dorothy Campbell; and a host of friend
